What are the 5 Key Benefits of Meditation
As mindfulness spreads far and wide, we are asking more questions about the benefits of Meditation. Scientific researchers are going deeper than ever to find out how this practice really works.
Many of the most successful and happy people in the world meditate daily and here is why –
Science is proving that it rewires the brain for peace, happiness and success. We are all after ‘the balance’ and seeking the magic formula.
Could this perhaps be ‘the real diazepam’ ?
The 5 Key Benefits of Meditation 🧘♀️
1. Reduces stress

Meditation reduces anxiety
We are living in the busiest period in history. Most of us experience overwhelm on a regular basis. Meditation calms down the nervous system and releases overwhelm, stress and anxiety. Meditation brings the body to homeostasis (our natural state). Leaving a feeling of bliss and total relaxation.
Our natural state is happiness. When you feel happy and joyful you radiate beauty, attracting abundance and prosperity. This alignment is key for manifesting your goals and following the Law of Attraction.
2. Strengthens Concentration
The practice of Meditation brings us into the present moment. As we learn to quieten the mind we spend more time ‘in the now’. Therefore we are more alert, focussed and productive. We can respond effectively to situations rather than over react. Being totally focussed on the job in hand we do each task efficiently, with more mastery and joy.
Being in the moment is blissful and timeless, Therefore Meditation is anti aging. Yeah! 💃
3. Boosts Creativity
This is one of my favourite benefits (second to anti aging of course) I love the enhancement of creativity and the welcoming of the inner child that meditation offers. You will often find your best ideas flow as you become increasingly relaxed, more spontaneous and connect within with your natural talent and ability.
You will find yourself having more AHA moments and laughter becomes a frequent visitor in your day.
4. Supports Well Being
Meditation enhances your energy and strength, it naturally boosts the immune system. It increases serotonin which influences moods and behaviour. Low levels of serotonin are associated with depression.
It can reduce physical and emotional pain. Your body will thank you for it! As we connect to our breath and bodies in Meditation, we become more energised and aware, we begin to make better nutritional choices. Mindful about our eating and exercise.
5. Promotes Compassion and Connection

Successful people meditate
Meditation helps us to regulate our emotions. It takes us out of the head and into the heart. As our mood lifts and the heart opens, we feel more connected to one another. We have increased compassion, greater connectivity and more positive relationships.
We begin to choose love over fear, feel less threatened, more relaxed and in flow. The connectedness reassures us that we have a meaningful life and purpose and we discover that purpose of life and learn to KNOW thyself and love ourselves more deeply.
The journey within is worthwhile, in cleaning up our inner world; love, peace and abundance is reflected in our outer world.

Meditation improves clarity
Meditation is a natural and normal experience. Daily meditation is an important part of my own personal daily spiritual practices. I am honoured to be a Max Meditation TM Teacher, a system that has an infusion of techniques. I would love to share this with you.
